"Growing up, I always felt different. I was the talkative kid in class, the daydreamer who found it hard to stay focused. Life seemed harder for me than it did for others, and I didn't understand why. It wasn't until just before the lockdown that I finally got an answer: I was diagnosed with ADHD.
Receiving the diagnosis was both a relief and a challenge. On one hand, I finally had an explanation for my struggles; on the other, I didn't know how to manage it. With the world shutting down and life becoming more stressful, my symptoms felt like they were spiralling out of control. I was lost and unsure of what to do next.
That's when I met Pam. Pam is an ADHD coach who has profoundly impacted my life. Before working with her, I had never received any coaching or guidance on how to deal with my ADHD. I was struggling, feeling overwhelmed, and didn't know how to help myself.
Pam taught me to see my diagnosis through a different lens. Instead of viewing ADHD as a burden, she helped me understand it as a unique part of who I am. She provided me with tools and strategies to navigate my symptoms, and most importantly, she showed me how to turn my challenges into strengths.
Through our sessions, I learned a lot about myself. I discovered ways to manage my day-to-day life, set achievable goals, and build routines that work for me. Pam's guidance has been invaluable, helping me to overcome hurdles that once seemed insurmountable.
Today, I feel stronger and more in control of my life. My journey with ADHD is ongoing, but with Pam's support, I now face it with confidence and resilience. If you're struggling with ADHD or know someone who is, I hope my story can offer some hope and encouragement. With the right support and understanding, it's possible to navigate the challenges and come out the other side stronger."
